Amendment Order in Council,1919, states "the provisions of the Fire anu Marine Insurance Companies (Deposit) Ordinance shall be applied to China Companies and Hong Kong China Companies" but the 1915 Order in Council contains no corresponding provision with regard to the Companies Ordinances no the Life Insurance Companies Ordinance, but only as regards, the Rules, (Arbicle 16 (2). He agrees therefore that minor amendments in the new Order in Council

might with advmtage be maŭe, but he understande from the Judge of H... Supreme Court that the Foreign Office last year had already considered the possibility of this but had decided not to delay the passing of the new Order which euch minor amendments would involve.
